Owner Operator - Specialty in Pitching
As a 00' Centerville graduate, he was an All-State selection and record holder. Was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school and signed in 2001 out of Rend Lake College. He played within the minor league system and was awarded with the Fireman's Rolaids Relief Pitcher award, and all-star selection, and a championship at the single – A and double – A levels. He was added to the Yankees 40 – man roster then traded to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for catcher Jose Molina. He played at triple – A level for the Angels in 2008, then the Cincinnati Reds in 2009, and then was invited to Major League camp for the Chicago Cubs in 2010 spring training. Jeff has spent his winters coaching for his entire pro career and is available to teach hitting and pitching.
She's the brains, he's the brawn. Kate wears many hats here at BTG. Her background is as a holistic health coach, personal trainer, foodie, entrepreneur, mom and wife. Kate has a background in medicine, a graduate medical education from Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health Fitness Specialist and Cancer Exercise Specialist. She works with those who suffer from chronic health problems and busy individuals to span the gap between what they know they 'should' be doing, and making it actually happen. Kate find systems that work for them, provide clean food education, and gives loads of inspiration along the way. Loves empowering women with confidence and strength.
Organization is the name of the game for Kathy! Previously, Kathy has been a physical education teacher, program director for ChildSight, and accounting assistant. She keeps our ship running smooth, and will help with any questions and issues that arise.
Instructor - Specialty in Hitting / Personal Trainer
Graduated from Zeeland High School in Zeeland, MI in 2004. Played two seasns at Lake Michigan Junior College in Benton Harbor, MI, where he was an All-Conference and All-Region selection before heading to Purdue University. During his time at Purdue, Brandon was a two-time Big Ten Batting Champion while hitting .464 and .444 in conference play. Selected in the 29th round during the 2009 draft by the Seattle Mariners. Played at the rookie level, AA, and AAA levels. Played in the Atlantic League with York Revolution during the 2012 season and was an All-Star selection.
Instructor - Specialty in Catching
Brandon graduated from Brookville, Ohio in 1995 and was named all area and All-State as a catcher his senior year. Brandon has coached ages from 4-18 throughout his 12 years of coaching. Brandon has coached over 33 ball players to the colligate level with two players being drafted. He has assisted multiple catchers reach their dream with division one level colleges like VMI and Virginia Tech. In 2004 he helped coach Paul VI Catholic High School located in northern Virginia to a state championship. Last year in 2015 he assisted the Waynesville Varsity baseball team with their runner up trophy in their division in the region. On that team he was the catching coach and helped their catcher to all Area and All-State honors. He currently resides in Centerville, Ohio with his wife Samantha and two children Mason and Matthew.
Personal Trainer/Group and Boot Camp Trainer/Athletic/Football Camp Instructor
Graduated from Fairmont 2001. Multi-sport athlete (Football and Baseball) before a 7 year semi-pro football career with the Cincinnati Ravens. Scott spent 9 years as a Correctional officer for the State of Ohio. Scott also enjoys coaching youth athletes in football and wrestling.
Scott brings a vast background and several personal training certifications to Beyond the Game. Specializing in weight loss/fitness and strength and power development.
